HOW TO DETECT A 2-WAY MIRROR
When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms, etc., how many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, or actually a 2-way mirror (i.e., they can see you, but you can't see them). There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms or bathroom or bedrooms. It is very difficult to positively identify the surface by just looking at it.
So, how do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of mirror we are looking at?
CONDUCT THIS SIMPLE TEST:
Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is a GENUINE mirror. However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE, IT IS A 2-WAY MIRROR!! (There is someone seeing you from the other side). So remember, every time you see a mirror, do the "fingernail test." It doesn't cost you anything.
It is simple to do. This is a really good thing to do. The reason there is a gap on a real mirror, is because the silver is on the back of the mirror UNDER the glass. Whereas with a two-way mirror, the silver is on the Surface. Keep it in mind! Make sure and check every time you enter in hotel rooms. May be someone is making a film on you.

Once there were 3 trees on a hill in the woods. They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the first tree said, "Someday I hope to be a treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems. I could be decorated with intricate carving and everyone would see the beauty." Then the second tree said, "Someday I will be a mighty ship. I will take kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of the world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull." Finally the third tree said, "I want to grow to be th e tallest and straightest tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the hill and look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time and people will always remember me."
After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of woodsmen came up on the trees.
When one came to the first tree he said, "This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter," and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because he knew that the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest.
At the second tree the woodsman said, "This looks like a strong tree, I should be able to sell it to the shipyard!" The second tree was happy because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship.
When the woodsmen came upon the third tree, the tree was frightened because he knew that if they cut him down his dreams would not come true. One of the woodsmen said, "I don't need anything special from my tree, I'll take this one," and he cut it down.
When the first tree arrived at the carpenters, he was made into a feed box for animals. He was then placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not at all what he had prayed for.
The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end.
The third tree was cut into large pieces and left alone in the dark.
The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams. Then one day, a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birthand they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree. The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do. The tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time.
Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water, a great storm arose and the tree didn't think it was strong enough to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and He stood and said "PEACE" and the storm stopped. At this time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat.
Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the streets as the people mocked the man who was carrying it. When they came to a stop, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the top of a hill. When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as was possible, because Jesus had been crucified on it.
The moral of this story is that when things don't seem to be going yo ur way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in Him, He will give you great gifts.
Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined. We don't always know what God's plans are for us. We just know that His ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best. May your days be blessed. May God cradle you in the palm of His hand.

those days
we`ve been separated by 4yrs of different schools,
but brought back tgt thru msn.
it all seemed so unreal, but it was there, right in front of us.
we came tgt as a clique, aft 4 long yrs.
but it only lasted for about 4 months.
i rmb all the hse-hopping and movie goings.
i rmb spending so much money just on movies.
i rmb our trademark was stone-ing.
i rmb on one normal movie day, i was called all of a sudden for a movie,
and i agreed without hesitation.
we gathered at your hse
and she and i were musing over your photo which u took with your brothers when u were young.
we were laughing at how cute u were.
i rmb the times when we travelled in the cab,
trying to get fr places to places.
most of the journey, we were having tongue lashing sessions
and most of the time it ended with,
"i`m pms-ing."
i rmb trying to play dutch for all the cab fares,
but u didn`t allow that to happen.
u paid for every single cab fare, every single cent.
that showed me how gentlemanly u are.
i rmb one time when u were really pissed off.
i was at a movie but it was boring,
so i decided to give u a call to coax u.
it wasn`t successful and it took me along time before u cooled off.
turn out that u were angry cause we didn`t ask u along for the movie.
i`m sorry but it was a girl`s day out.
i rmb another time when it was me who was pissed off.
we were supposed to meet others for a movie.
i was too tired to go but i had to pass u smtg.
u called me and tried persuading me into going.
i finally agreed aft we made a pact.
that was to see a smile on u instead of a poutting face.
u agreed and u really smiled all the time we were out.
i was very happy.
i rmb that very same day when u asked me for honey sticks.
i did buy for u,
and u got sick the day aft u ate it all up.
it was hilarious and stupid of u to finish all the honey sticks at one go.
i didn`t try to hide the mean side of me,
and i laughed at u.
i rmb the days when we had long conference calls with 5 of us.
the call went all the way to the wee hours.
one by one, we were dozing off.
but none of us wanted to end the call.
we finally hung up at 4AM,
only to find ourselves meeting up again at 8AM the next morning.
it was crazy but fun.
it were the happier times of my life.
i couldn`t ask for more.
now all i wish for is a gathering to bring us back tgt again,
and that our friendship will last forever.
i miss those days.
i guess i haven`t got over u.
i guess it`ll take me forever to forget bout u.

I have in my hands two boxes,
which God gave me to hold.
He said, "Put all your sorrows in the black box and all your joys in the gold."
I heeded His words, and in the two boxes.
both my joys and sorrows I stored.
Though the gold box became heavier each day,
the black box was as light as before.
With curiosity, I opened the black box.
I wanted to find out why,
and I saw in the base of the box, a hole,
which my sorrows had fallen out by.
I showed the hole to God, and mused,
"I wonder where my sorrows could be!"
He smiled a gentle smile and said,
"My child, they're all here with me.."
I asked God, why He gave me the boxes,
why the gold and the black with the hole?
"My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings, the black is for you to let go."
We should consider all of our friends a blessing.
If you look at what you do not have in life, you don't have anything.
If you look at what you have in life, you have everything.
It keeps us together like our Circle of Friends.
The Difference Between Rich/Poor People
One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son,
"How was the trip?"
"It was great, Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.
"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.
The son answered:
"I saw that we have one dog and they had four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.
We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.
We buy our food, but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added,
"Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."
Isn't perspective a wonderful thing?? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.

so i asked yp why not come down to cck and join us.
she said nevermind.
and in the end yp went hme and jonathan went to marina to catch a movie alone.
hmm i`m getting a worse impression of jonathan.

apparently i think he`s gonna break that strong bond between the gang sooner or ltr.
we got tgt closer aft last yr`s chalet.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is sucha magical show. It`s so nice and it`s like during every single episode, someone`s house will turn from chaos to a nieghbourhood princess-like house. It`s like doing magic in just a week.

Amazing Race is way so cool. The contestants get to travel around the world with either their friends or their spouse or their kids. But if you come in last, you are eliminated.
Towards the end of the episode, i start gan-chiong-ing with the last 2 teams. haha but i support Eric and Jeremy. THere`s this other team, Bj and Tyler, who are always fighting side by side for the first place. You know why? Because the 1st team to arrive will have a reward (most of the time).
Well, i don`t really like Lake and Michelle. Fran and Barry are still hanging strong. Way to go. They`re the oldest couple in the show. I also like Danielle and Dani but they were alr eliminated during the episode 2 weeks ago. So sad. As for the rest of the dating couples, i`m neutral bout them.

The show started off with 4grps - young women team; old women team; young men team; old men team. Each team had 4 members each. After a few rounds of challenges, they were then regrouped into 2tribes - Casaya and La Mina. Currently, all the contestants are alr merged tgt in a tribe called Gitanos and all of them are now fighting for individual immuntiy. Apparently Terry has the individual immunity idol which he found it on Excile Island and he is now thinking of giving it to someone else in order to lure them into his alliance.
Contestants who were voted off alr: Melinda, Misty, Ruth Marie, Tina, Bobby, Dan, Nick. Austin was just voted off last episode.
I was watching Survivor on friday night and i was gan-chiong-ing with the contestants!! haha ok i`m like gan-chiong-ing all the time. Lols Aras and Danielle rocks. Although the two tribes had alr merged, Casaya and La Mina still stand strong tgt individually when it comes to Tribal Council. Just when you thought that Danielle and Bruce are losing their standing in Casaya and thinking of joining the La Mina alliance, we were all WRONG!!! That`s so cool of them!!! Even though they are threatened of being the next 2 outta Survivor when it reaches the top6, they still stand strong tgt with Casaya. Terry and Austin were wrong bout them. All the 6 ex-Casaya members voted Austin off after they`ve voted Nick off 2 weeks ago while the remaining 3La Mina members voted for Aras.
But i guess there`ll be a twist to Survivor soon. EXCITING!!! Watch on!!!

Why God Allows Pain
This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering that I have seen.
It's an explanation other people will understand.
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God,
the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.
Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street
